Residential housing estate of 350 housing units including apartment blocks & extensive landscaping.

We are currently engaged in the third phase of this development.

Along with the typical hazards you would expect to find on housing construction we also addressed

Extensive overhead & underground ESB Networks.
Construction of large underground storm water tanks.
Handover phasing with defined boundaries.

Having previously worked as a Health and Safety manager with ESB Networks sub-contractor we have used this experience to provide consultancy services to a number of similar contractors on the following projects.

Full Health & Safety Consultancy on the construction of this 3000 sq. metre commercial building.

Health & Safety Consultant to the main contractor on this extensive refurbishment and modernisation of car sales showroom and garage.

Marlton Road - Residential Housing. Wicklow Town.

Residential housing estate at Marlton Road comprising domestic housing, apartment blocks, creche, new link road and extensive hard landscaping.

Commercial Fit Out Projects

We have provided consultancy services on over a hundred commercial building refurbishment/ fit out projects. They include high profile Retail, Offices & Business hubs.

On a large number of these projects, the building was either occupied or partially occupied by several different tenants. Business had to continue as normal which posed challenging safety issues for the client.

We worked with both the client, the other building occupiers and the contractor to ensure the projects were completed successfully and safely with minimum operational impact on the clients business.

O2 - De-branding of Retail Outlets

Removal of 02 external signage from approximately 150 retail units across the whole of Ireland.

An interesting project from the perspective that we had so many separate locations and all unique in their potential risks to safety.

The key risk areas encountered were:

Protection of the public.
Traffic & Pedestrian management.
Working at heights.
Overhead utilities.

We developed a unique on site risk assessment template form for use by the operatives coupled with a method statement that would work for as many foreseeable scenarios as possible.

This project was completed very successfully without incident and on time.
